"Everything can be taken away from a man but one thing--to choose one's attitude in a given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."
Viktor Frankl, The Search for Meaning
Attitude is talked about a lot. It's almost a requirement these days to believe in good attitude. But it's interesting to think about where a positive attitude comes from.
Good attitude doesn't matter when things are going great. Like, how hard is that? It's when things are bad, especially when they are bad for a long time, that true attitude comes to the fore. Viktor Frankl discovered his good attitude in Nazi death camps in WWII. That qualifies as a real, honest and deep good attitude.
When I think if it that way, I can see that the seed of constantly moving forward positively has to come from a deep philosophy, a certainty of a better future.
Community & Connectivity
An evolution of a positive attitude is a collective positive attitude. A collectively connected positive attitude. I wonder where that could take us.
